What to expect
Sacré-Cœur and the artists' square on the hill.
- Distance from port
- 5.7 km
- Approximate straight-line distance from the mapped Port de Grenelle reference point to the Sacré-Cœur basilica reference point. Not a road or walking distance. Paris river berths vary; check your cruise boarding documents and allow for the actual route.
- Cost
- Free
- Walking the public district and entering Sacré-Cœur basilica are free. The dome, museums, funicular, food and guided tours cost extra.
- Tourist-trap risk
- Mixed
- Editorial assessment: Historic streets and a working basilica coexist with visitor shops and paid portraits; agree any service price before accepting it.
- Physical effort
- High
- The hill and stair routes can be demanding. Choose transport to the top if needed, take breaks and keep belongings secure in crowded visitor areas.
- Accessibility
- Partly accessible
- Sacré-Cœur has ramp/lift access at 35 rue du Chevalier de la Barre. This does not make every hillside street, staircase or nearby business accessible; plan the approach separately.

Distance is approximate and measured from the cruise port, not the airport. Cost and tourist-trap risk are editorial assessments. Accessibility depends on the route, transport and facilities described in the notes. Not assessed means details have not yet been verified.
