About Carnival Ecstasy
Carnival Ecstasy is a former Carnival Cruise Line cruise ship of the Fantasy class, which sailed 1991 to 2022. She measured 70,367 gross tons and carried 2,052 guests with a crew of 920. She sailed Caribbean, Bahamas itineraries.
Carnival Ecstasy was a Fantasy-class ship that sailed for Carnival from April 1991 to October 2022, named Ecstasy until the line added the Carnival prefix in 2007. From 2019 she ran Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean cruises from Jacksonville, Florida, and a 14-day dry dock that October added new venues. Carnival announced her retirement in February 2022; she then sailed a farewell season from Mobile, Alabama, the only one of the six retired Fantasy-class ships to get one, ending with a cruise to Cozumel and Progreso on 15 October 2022. She was sold for scrap and beached at Aliağa, Turkey, on 8 November 2022.
