About Carnival Fantasy

Carnival Fantasy is a former Carnival Cruise Line cruise ship of the Fantasy class, which sailed 1990 to 2020. She measured 70,367 gross tons and carried 2,052 guests with a crew of 920.

Carnival Fantasy was the lead ship of the Fantasy class; when she entered service as Fantasy in March 1990 she was one of the largest ships afloat, with the biggest atrium at sea. Over three decades she sailed from Miami, Port Canaveral, New Orleans, Charleston and Mobile, returning to Mobile, Alabama, in November 2016, and she was refitted again in January 2019. By 2020 she was the oldest ship in the fleet. Carnival sold her for scrap during the pandemic; she left Miami on 15 July 2020 and was beached at Aliağa, Turkey, later that month, with scrapping finished in September 2021.
