About Celestyal Olympia

Celestyal Olympia is a former Celestyal Cruises cruise ship, which sailed 1982 to 2023. She measured 37,584 gross tons and carried 1,575 guests with a crew of 540. She sailed Mediterranean itineraries.

Celestyal Olympia was built by Wärtsilä in Helsinki and entered service in December 1982 as Royal Caribbean's Song of America, later sailing as Sunbird and Thomson Destiny. She returned to the Louis group in 2012 as Louis Olympia, sailing short Greek island and Turkey cruises from Piraeus, and took the Celestyal name in 2014; a 2015 refit refurbished more than 250 of her cabins and suites. She was taken out of service and laid up at Lavrion in late 2023, when Celestyal bought the former AIDAaura to replace her. Sold and renamed Bella Fortuna in January 2024, she was scrapped at Alang, India, in 2025.
