About Crystal Endeavor
Crystal Endeavor is a former Crystal cruise ship, which sailed 2021 to 2022. She measured 20,449 gross tons and carried 200 guests with a crew of 209. She sailed Antarctica, Northern Europe itineraries.
Crystal Endeavor was Crystal's purpose-built expedition yacht, a Polar Class 6 ship for 200 guests built by MV Werften at Stralsund, Germany, and billed as the largest ice-class expedition yacht in the world. Her delivery slipped a year after work at the yard was suspended in 2020; she was christened in June 2021 and began her maiden voyage, a circuit of Iceland, on July 17, 2021. After the collapse of Crystal's parent company she finished her last Antarctic voyage at Ushuaia in February 2022 and was laid up under arrest. Royal Caribbean Group bought her at a court-approved sale in July 2022, and she now sails for Silversea Cruises as Silver Endeavour.
