About Radiance of the Seas

Radiance of the Seas is a Royal Caribbean International cruise ship of the Radiance class, in service since 2001. She measures 90,090 gross tons and carries 2,143 guests with a crew of 859. She sails Caribbean itineraries. We rate her 4.0 out of 5.

Radiance of the Seas, delivered in March 2001, is the lead ship of the Radiance class, four Meyer Werft-built ships powered by gas turbines and sized to fit the Panama Canal. The class is known for large areas of glass, glass elevators facing the sea and more than 700 balcony cabins, and Radiance was the first cruise ship with gyroscopically stabilized pool tables. She also has a rock-climbing wall, mini golf and about ten places to eat. She sails Western Caribbean cruises year-round from Tampa, Florida.
