About AIDAmira
AIDAmira is a former AIDA Cruises cruise ship of the Mistral class, which sailed 1999 to 2022. She measured 48,200 gross tons and carried 1,248 guests with a crew of 670.
AIDAmira was a 48,200-ton Mistral-class ship, completed at Chantiers de l'Atlantique in 1999, that sailed for Festival Cruises, Ibero Cruises and Costa, as Costa neoRiviera, before joining AIDA. A 55 million dollar conversion in Genoa in late 2019 prepared it for AIDA's Selection program, and it was christened in Palma de Mallorca on 30 November 2019 with room for about 1,250 guests. Its first AIDA season was 14-night cruises from Cape Town, but the pandemic ended it in March 2020 and the ship never sailed for AIDA again. AIDA sold it in January 2022 to Ambassador Cruise Line, which sails it as Ambition.
