About Costa Victoria

Costa Victoria is a former Costa Cruises cruise ship, which sailed 1996 to 2020. She measured 75,166 gross tons and carried 1,928 guests with a crew of 766. She sailed Asia, Middle East, Mediterranean itineraries.

Costa Victoria was a 75,166-ton ship built by Bremer Vulkan in Bremen and in Costa service from July 1996, when it was the largest cruise ship built in Germany. A planned sister was never finished after the shipyard collapsed, so it remained a one-off, and it was the last ship completed under Costa family ownership. A 2013 refit played up its Italian style. In later years it sailed in Asia and the Mediterranean, and in its last season it ran cruises from Mumbai to the Maldives and Sri Lanka before a final voyage from Dubai. After its last passengers left in Civitavecchia in March 2020, Costa sold the ship in June 2020, and it was scrapped in Aliaga, Turkey, in 2021.
