About National Geographic Endeavour II

National Geographic Endeavour II is a Lindblad Expeditions cruise ship, in service since 2005. She measures 2,716 gross tons and carries 96 guests. She sails Galápagos itineraries. We rate her 3.2 out of 5.

National Geographic Endeavour II is the largest of Lindblad's Galápagos ships, carrying 96 guests in 52 cabins year-round in the archipelago. The ASENAV yard at Valdivia, Chile, built her in 2005 as Via Australis for the Patagonia cruise line Australis, and her hull is ice-strengthened for those southern waters. Lindblad took her over in 2016 and rebuilt her from top to bottom for the tropics, cutting her capacity from 136 passengers. A shallow draft, a large open observation deck and big windows in the lounges suit wildlife watching, and Lindblad markets her as its most family-friendly ship. Her voyages include Galápagos expeditions on their own and combined with Machu Picchu and Peru.
