About Oceana
Oceana is a former P&O Cruises cruise ship of the Sun class, which sailed 2002 to 2020. She measured 77,499 gross tons and carried 2,016 guests with a crew of 889.
Oceana was a Sun-class ship built by Fincantieri at Monfalcone that entered service in February 2000 as Ocean Princess for Princess Cruises and moved to P&O Cruises in 2002, named in Southampton in May 2003. She measured about 77,500 gross tons and carried about 2,000 guests, with 12 bars, four restaurants, four pools and a 530-seat theater, and was last refitted at Blohm+Voss in Hamburg in late 2017. During the 2020 shutdown P&O sold her; she was handed to Seajets at Patras on 21 July 2020, renamed Queen of the Oceans, and has remained laid up in Greece without returning to service.
