About Seven Seas Navigator

Seven Seas Navigator is a Regent Seven Seas Cruises cruise ship, in service since 1999. She measures 28,803 gross tons and carries 496 guests with a crew of 365. She sails Mediterranean, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, South Pacific itineraries. We rate her 4.5 out of 5.

Seven Seas Navigator is Regent's smallest ship, with 496 guests in 244 suites and 365 crew. Her hull was begun at the Admiralty Shipyard in Leningrad for a Soviet satellite-tracking ship; it was later bought and completed by T. Mariotti in Genoa, and she entered service for Radisson Seven Seas Cruises in 1999. Her restaurants include Compass Rose, Prime 7 and Sette Mari at La Veranda. Regent had promoted a farewell season for her ahead of a charter to the residential line Crescent Seas, but that deal was terminated in 2025; instead she has a dry dock in Genoa planned for late 2026, then the line's first full winter season in the Mediterranean and 2027 voyages across Africa, Asia, Australia and the South Pacific.

Cabins to avoid & quieter candidates

  • Forward suite sections on Deck 8, including suites 816 and 817

Quieter starting point: suites between suite decks

Suites 816 and 817 sit in the forward accommodation section, between suite areas on Decks 7 and 9, away from the Deck 8 laundrette and lifts. Forward locations may feel more motion than midship suites; quieter surroundings are not guaranteed.

    Verified cabin references

    816 · 817

    Why we flag this

The official Deck 8 diagram numbers suites 816 and 817 in the forward accommodation section. The same footprint on Decks 7 and 9 contains suites; Deck 7 public rooms are farther aft. Check the source plan.

  • Deck 9 suites below the public areas of Deck 10

Check suites beneath pool and dining activity

Moving furniture, pool use and food-service setup may create activity overhead. Compare the exact suite with the public footprint above before booking if sleep is a priority.

    Why we flag this

The official diagram places the pool deck, Pool Bar, Pool Grill and La Veranda on Deck 10, above portions of Deck 9 accommodation. This is a layout-based caution, not a measured noise report. Check the source plan.

  • Deck 8 suites above the public-room footprint on Deck 7

Check suites above evening public rooms

For early nights, check the exact position against the venues below. Music, conversations and setup are possible considerations; the plan does not establish that a particular room is noisy.

    Why we flag this

The official deck maps show Seven Seas Lounge and the Casino on Deck 7, with accommodation on Deck 8. Only suites that overlap those venue footprints are covered by this caution. Check the source plan.

  • Deck 7 suites 728 and 733 at the suite corridor nearest the casino-side lift lobby

Check suites 728 and 733 beside the public-area lobby

These suites are near the transition from public areas to the accommodation corridor. This may suit guests who want easy access, but check passing traffic and evening venue access if seeking separation from busy spaces.

    Verified cabin references

    728 · 733

    Why we flag this

The Deck 7 diagram places suites 728 and 733 beside the public-area lift lobby, with the Casino and Seven Seas Lounge on the same deck. This proximity alone does not prove noise. Check the source plan.

Location-based guidance, not measured noise or a guarantee of quiet. Flags identify areas to investigate, not every cabin on a deck. Which cabins are good choices on Seven Seas Navigator?

For the “Official published layout” plan, start with these quieter-location candidates: Forward suite sections on Deck 8, including suites 816 and 817 (cabins 816, 817): Suites 816 and 817 sit in the forward accommodation section, between suite areas on Decks 7 and 9, away from the Deck 8 laundrette and lifts. Forward locations may feel more motion than midship suites; quieter surroundings are not guaranteed. Compare the exact cabin with the decks above and below, nearby lifts and connecting doors. These are layout-based suggestions, not a guarantee of quiet.

Which cabins should I avoid or check carefully on Seven Seas Navigator?

For the “Official published layout” plan, review these flagged locations before booking: Deck 9 suites below the public areas of Deck 10: Moving furniture, pool use and food-service setup may create activity overhead. Compare the exact suite with the public footprint above before booking if sleep is a priority. Deck 8 suites above the public-room footprint on Deck 7: For early nights, check the exact position against the venues below. Music, conversations and setup are possible considerations; the plan does not establish that a particular room is noisy. These flags are not measured noise reports or a warning about every room on a deck. Read the sourced cabin advice for the evidence and any explicit operator warnings.

How can I check whether a cabin is under a pool, nightclub or theatre?

Find the cabin on the selected plan, then compare the same fore-and-aft position on the deck above and below. Check the full venue footprint, including outdoor seating, stages, service areas and entrances. Nearby activity can be a reason to investigate, but does not by itself prove a cabin is noisy. Use the cabin advice and its sources to distinguish layout cautions from operator warnings.
