About A-ROSA Bella

A-ROSA Bella is an A-ROSA River Cruises cruise ship, in service since 2002. She carries 242 guests with a crew of 50. She sails Danube itineraries. We rate her 3.5 out of 5.

A-ROSA Bella is a Danube river cruise ship carrying up to 242 guests in 100 outside cabins, many of them with French balconies. Neptun Werft in Warnemünde built her as the first of four near-identical sisters, and she and A-ROSA Donna opened the A-ROSA river program in May 2002. At 14.4 meters wide the four ships were too broad for the usual route via the Rhine and the Main-Danube Canal, so they were carried to the Danube mouth on pontoons. Onboard there is a heated pool on the sun deck, a café bar, a grill station and a spa with saunas and a gym; the decks are linked by stairs only. Her cruises start at Engelhartszell near Passau and head downstream to Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest, with longer trips to the Danube Delta.
