About A-ROSA Riva

A-ROSA Riva is an A-ROSA River Cruises cruise ship, in service since 2004. She carries 242 guests with a crew of 50. She sails Danube itineraries. We rate her 3.5 out of 5.

A-ROSA Riva is a Danube river cruise ship for up to 242 guests in 100 outside cabins, the last of the four sisters Neptun Werft in Warnemünde delivered for A-ROSA's Danube service between 2002 and 2004. She began her maiden voyage in April 2004 and, unlike her German-flagged sisters, sails under the Swiss flag. Her layout matches the rest of the class, with a sun-deck pool, putting green, café bar and spa, and she alone among the four has a small extra dining room, the A-ROSA Stüberl. Her cruises begin at Engelhartszell near Passau and run to Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest, with some longer sailings toward the Danube Delta.
