Costa Diadema is a modified Dream-class ship of 132,500 tons and about 3,700 guests at double occupancy, delivered by Fincantieri in October 2014. When new it was the largest ship flying the Italian flag, and it was Costa's flagship until Costa Toscana took over in 2022. Its Solemio spa covers about 7,800 square meters, and a 2024 refit added a Heineken cafe, a steakhouse, the Archipelago and Sushino restaurants and a Sunset bar. In winter 2026-27 it sails South American cruises from Santos, Itajai, Buenos Aires and Montevideo, and in summer 2027 it moves to Northern Europe for Norway and Baltic cruises from Kiel and Copenhagen.
