About S.S. Elisabeth
S.S. Elisabeth is a Uniworld Boutique River Cruises cruise ship, in service since 2017. She carries 110 guests with a crew of 41. She sails Rhine itineraries. We rate her 4.0 out of 5.
S.S. Elisabeth is a 110-guest river ship, 442.5 feet (135 m) long, built in 2017 as Crystal Mahler for Crystal River Cruises, which collapsed in 2022. Riverside Luxury Cruises took over the ship, and Uniworld chartered it and began sailing it in 2025 as the twin of S.S. Victoria. With only 55 staterooms on a hull of this length, rooms are large: the two Royal Suites are 506 square feet each and can be booked with the suite next door as a 759-square-foot, two-bedroom unit. Velvet and marble finishes set the tone, and there are three places to eat, including a sun deck bar, plus a pool, gym and massage room. It sails the Rhine between Basel and Amsterdam or Arnhem and Dutch and Belgian routes from Amsterdam and Brussels.
