About S.S. São Rafael

S.S. São Rafael is a new Uniworld Boutique River Cruises cruise ship, due to enter service in 2027. She will carry 94 guests with a crew of 37. She is set to sail Douro itineraries.

S.S. São Rafael is an upcoming 94-guest river ship, 262 feet (80 m) long, that Uniworld will add on Portugal's Douro River in 2027 alongside S.S. São Gabriel. Its name recalls the ship commanded by Paulo da Gama in his brother Vasco da Gama's 1497 fleet. The published deck plan matches São Gabriel's, with a pool on the top terrace, the Feitoria Restaurant, the Vintage Bar and Heritage Bistro, and a deck given over to suites. Uniworld lists it on the eight-day Douro River Valley round trip from Porto and an 11-day Portugal and Spain itinerary that ends in Lisbon. Only the year of its debut has been announced.
