About A-ROSA Clea

A-ROSA Clea is an A-ROSA River Cruises cruise ship, in service since 2009. She carries 140 guests. She sails Rhine itineraries. We rate her 3.5 out of 5.

A-ROSA Clea is a 110-meter river cruise ship for up to 140 guests in 68 outside cabins and two junior suites, built in 2009 by the Jac. den Breejen yard in Hardinxveld-Giessendam in the Netherlands. She sailed for Avalon Waterways as Avalon Creativity before joining A-ROSA with her sister A-ROSA Alea in 2024, and her first A-ROSA cruise began on 7 April 2024, a seven-night trip to Willemstad, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Hoorn and Emmerich. Both ships were refurbished in early 2026. Onboard are a whirlpool and deck games on the sun deck, a gym, a lift and three lounges, but no sauna; dinner pairs a starter and dessert buffet with a main course served at the table. In 2026 she ran Main River cruises from Frankfurt, and for 2027 she is scheduled for Rhine and Moselle cruises from Cologne.
