About A-ROSA Sena

A-ROSA Sena is an A-ROSA River Cruises cruise ship, in service since 2022. She carries 280 guests. She sails Rhine itineraries. We rate her 3.7 out of 5.

A-ROSA Sena is the line's flagship, a 135-meter, 17.7-meter-wide Rhine river cruise ship with four decks plus a sun deck, built by Concordia Damen in Werkendam in the Netherlands and in service since June 2022. A hybrid system of diesel and electric engines with battery storage lets her sail on electric power alone for limited stretches. She carries up to 280 guests in 140 cabins and suites, most with balconies, including 12 family cabins for up to five people beside a dedicated Kids Club room. Other features include the buffet Market restaurant, the à la carte SENA Grill, a retractable Up & Down Bar, an adult pool and a shallow children's pool on the sun deck, and a large spa. She has so far sailed the Rhine downstream of Cologne to the Netherlands and Belgium; for 2027 she moves her base to Duisburg and adds her first southbound cruises, to Koblenz, Rüdesheim and Mainz.
