About Costa Firenze
Costa Firenze is a former Costa Cruises cruise ship of the Vista class, which sailed 2021 to 2024. She measured 135,156 gross tons and carried 4,208 guests with a crew of 1,278. She sailed Mediterranean, Northern Europe, South America itineraries.
Costa Firenze was a 135,156-ton Vista-class ship built by Fincantieri at Marghera for Costa's Chinese business, though the pandemic meant it never sailed in Asia. Delivered in December 2020, it made its first voyage on 4 July 2021 around Italy, and its interiors drew on the history and culture of Florence. It carried about 4,200 guests at double occupancy and sailed the Persian Gulf from Dubai, the Mediterranean, South America and Northern Europe in its short Costa career. Carnival Corporation moved the ship to Carnival Cruise Line, which took it over on 2 February 2024; it now sails from Long Beach, California, as Carnival Firenze.
