About S.S. Antoinette
S.S. Antoinette is a Uniworld Boutique River Cruises cruise ship, in service since 2011. She carries 152 guests with a crew of 56. She sails Rhine itineraries. We rate her 4.0 out of 5.
S.S. Antoinette is a 152-guest river ship, 443 feet (135 m) long, that entered service in 2011 as the first vessel Uniworld branded a Super Ship. The interiors borrow from French royal style: meals are served in the Restaurant de Versailles, the main lounge is the Salon du Grand Trianon, and a small onboard cinema is called Le Cinema Pigalle. Aft there is a swimming pool and the Bar du Leopard, and the top deck holds the L'Orangerie Sky Lounge. The two-story lobby is lit by a large Baccarat chandelier that Uniworld says once hung at New York's Tavern on the Green, and balcony rooms on La Princesse Deck have glass that can be raised to enclose the balcony. For 2027 and 2028 it sails the Rhine between Basel and Amsterdam or Arnhem, with holiday-market cruises in winter.

What’s above your ceiling matters as much as the view. Compare the decks around your cabin, then use the location notes to build your shortlist.
Applicability follows the operator’s explicit sailing-year selector, rather than the image filename. Confirm the exact cabin category, view, bed setup, connections and access with Uniworld. Quieter/avoid notes distinguish operator-confirmed features from inferred adjacency; they are not measured sound ratings. The sun/roof deck is supplied only as a side elevation, with no separate top-down plan in this artwork.

Cabins to avoid & quieter candidates
Accommodation overlap on La Duchesse Deck between La Countesse Deck and La Princesse Deck
Compare La Duchesse Deck cabin overlap
Shortlist a cabin with accommodation immediately above and below. Check the exact footprint, service spaces, lift/stair access and connecting doors.
Why we flag this
The ship-specific operator diagrams identify accommodation and public-space boundaries on these named decks. The preference depends on actual cabin overlap, not a guarantee that the entire deck is quiet. Check the source plan.
La Princesse Deck alongside swimming pool, Serenity River Spa and Salon du Grand Trianon
Check La Princesse Deck near public venues and rooftop activity
Compare the exact cabin with swimming pool, Serenity River Spa and Salon du Grand Trianon on its own deck and ask about any rooftop activity above. Confirm venue hours and doors/circulation. The sun-deck source is a side elevation, so it does not establish a precise overhead footprint.
Why we flag this
The ship-specific operator drawing places public facilities beside this accommodation block and shows the roof/sun deck in profile. This is a conditional adjacency caution, not a report that all upper-deck cabins are noisy. Check the source plan.
La Countesse Deck cabins near Il Crema Bistro, guest laundry and the 24-hour coffee/tea station
Check La Countesse Deck public-space proximity
Compare the precise cabin with Il Crema Bistro, guest laundry and the 24-hour coffee/tea station. Ask about activity, meal/service hours, doors and circulation for the spaces closest to the room.
Why we flag this
The operator diagram labels these facilities alongside accommodation. Proximity is an inferred activity tradeoff, not a verified noise complaint. Check the source plan.
Location-based guidance, not measured noise or a guarantee of quiet. Flags identify areas to investigate, not every cabin on a deck. Check the exact room, connecting doors, accessibility and the plan for your sailing date. Official artwork assigned to sailing years 2026 by Uniworld’s ship-page year selector. Numbered selectors follow bottom-to-top diagram rows; original deck names, cabin numbers, colors, notes and category key are retained.
