About S.S. Maria Theresa

S.S. Maria Theresa is a Uniworld Boutique River Cruises cruise ship, in service since 2015. She carries 150 guests with a crew of 55. She sails Danube itineraries. We rate her 4.0 out of 5.

S.S. Maria Theresa is a 150-guest Super Ship, 443 feet (135 m) long, built in 2015 and named for the 18th-century Habsburg empress. Its decor follows her era, and the public rooms carry Viennese names: the Baroque Restaurant, the Habsburg Salon with the Bohemian Terrace at the bow, the Viennese Café and the Lipizzan Cinema, with a pool and the Bar du Leopard aft. Original art aboard includes works by Frederik Bloemaert. Balcony rooms on the Hofburg Deck have glass that can be raised to close in the balcony, and some suites sleep three. The ship sails the Danube between Budapest and Passau, including holiday-market and New Year's departures.
