About S.S. Beatrice

S.S. Beatrice is a Uniworld Boutique River Cruises cruise ship, in service since 2009. She carries 148 guests with a crew of 58. She sails Danube, Rhine itineraries. We rate her 4.0 out of 5.

S.S. Beatrice is a 148-guest river ship, 430 feet (131 m) long, that entered service in 2009 as River Beatrice and was remodeled and renamed as one of Uniworld's Super Ships in 2018. The refit added a lobby with marble floors, a white Murano glass chandelier and a nickel and black iron staircase, light yacht-style wood with blue and white finishes, two Grand Suites, a second Royal Suite and connecting rooms. Its venues are named for Austrian composers: Mozart's is the main restaurant, Wolfgang's the bar and lounge, Schubert's an 18-seat café at the bow serving shared plates, and Max's a smaller restaurant that also hosts cooking classes. Artwork aboard includes pieces by Pablo Picasso and Alexander Calder. It sails the Danube from Budapest, with holiday-market routes on the Main and Danube from Nuremberg.
