About ms Andorinha
ms Andorinha is a Tauck cruise ship, in service since 2020. She carries 84 guests with a crew of 43. She sails Douro itineraries. We rate her 3.8 out of 5.
ms Andorinha is an 80-meter riverboat that Tauck's longtime partner Scylla built in 2020 specifically for Tauck's cruises on Portugal's Douro. She carries at most 84 guests, with 12 Tauck Suites of 300 square feet and 20 cabins of 225 square feet among her accommodations, and a crew of 43. Portuguese firms supplied some of the furniture and lighting; the color scheme and patterns in the carpets, artwork and railings borrow from the country's decorative tiles, and custom light fixtures are shaped like vines. A small pool sits on the Sun Deck, and the boat has hydraulic systems for passing the Douro's locks. She runs round trips from Porto into the Douro Valley, and from 2027 she will be joined by a sister ship, ms Saudade.
